Bay Area News Group cuts 34 editorial positions

1 Nov

According to The Patch, 34 editorial positions were cut. Amongst the victims, was the editor of The Argus and The Daily Review, Steve Waterhouse. Waterhouse had paid his dues as a long time editor of The Argus. Hopefully, this will be a beginning of a new chapter for him.

So who’s running the show?

What really bothers me is that they have a virtual monoply over the printed news in the bay area!

dont understand why it matters one way or the other. they dont do much coverage in the Newark, Fremont, Union City area and even when they do its mostly feel good stuff that no one cares about.
