This place needed an uplift in the decor and service. In many ways the city and neighboring cities have changed. With the arrival of Asian and Indian ethnic population, many traditional restaurants have suffered as their target market has shrunk. Saki has done the best that he could do. I would hate to see a locally owned business lose against corporate chain restaurants but now we have so many Elephant Bar types of restaurants in the area and they are always crowded. If Saki can bring an affordable menu, make the place more casual, he can attract younger population. When I go to local joints such as Suju’s, Mission Coffee, Elephant Bar, Chili’s they are always crowded with younger folks. If your customers are dead and moving, go after those who are moving in the city and young.
