Bill Harrison is running for Mayor of Fremont

24 May

This picture says it all. Bill Harrison is being endorsed by Supervisor Scott Haggerty, former Assemblymember Alberto Torrico, and the late Bob Wasserman. Unfortunately, the late Mayor is not around to endorse Harrison in person or provide a quote.

Here is the quote from Torrico:

“I enthusiastically endorse Bill for Mayor. Bill has Fremont in his heart with everything he does. He would be the first Mayor born and raised here, he has run a business that has been in Fremont since 1954 and has served us well on the City Council. Bill is the leader I trust to move us forward.” Former Assembly Majority Leader Alberto Torrico

Here is the quote from Haggerty:

“Bill has the vision and leadership to make Fremont an even better place to live, work, shop and raise a family. He has the experience to bring good paying jobs to Fremont, keep our streets safe, and help our schools. I proudly endorse him.” Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty.

The race for Mayor of Fremont has now become competitive. We already have former city councilmember Steve Cho, and current councilmember Anu Natarajan who have already announced. Cho and Natarajan haven’t listed their endorsements as of now. It will be interesting to see who gets what endorsements and whether it translates into votes.

See Harrison’s statement here.

I believe that Bill Harrison was Scott Haggerty’s Campaign manager when Scott Haggerty was running as a Republican for Alameda County Supervisor! Bill is getting pay back. There are a lot of politicians that were Republicans, but when deciding to run for office they changed to being a Democrat.

So what’s your point? Who gives s s$&t?! This is a non- partisan race. Anu paid back Dominic Dutra by appointing him to the council… Now he will most likely pay her back by endorsing her for Mayor.

Go Bill Harrison! I’m very excited to see a local guy come up and serve his city. I think he is a great leader and he understands business. Anu has never held a job outside city service and an “appointment” type position in her new job. Bill understands the struggles that business owners have and he tries to help when you reach out to him. Anu is “too political” — dancing and weaving trying to figure out the best politics of any decision. She paints these big visions, but is unable to accomplish anything.

You are obviously a person that says things without checking the facts. You probably know the facts but would rather say nasty things, you and Bill Sound like, you support the Far Right!
Was Bill A registered Republican, can you deal with a person that will do anything to get elected including changing from a Republican to a Democrat. Lets stick with the truth my friend!

Bill Harrison has been a democrat longer than Anu Natarajan. In any case, this is a non-partisan race so you shouldn’t injected your party politics into the mix.

You are the one that needs to check your facts.
