Harrison locks up majority of the endorsements for Fremont Mayor

24 Sep

Bill Harrison’s campaign has received momentum as he has received endorsements from the following organizations and groups in the past week: Alameda County Democratic Party, Fremont Firefighters, Central Labor Council, SEIU, BGG Pac of the Chamber of Commerce, and many others. Unlike individual endorsements, endorsements by organizations carry a lot of weight and can sway the general public. Natarajan has received the endorsement of Emily’s list and elected officials past and present some of which live outside the area.
The Fremont’ Mayor’s race promises to be one of the most challenging and exciting campaigns in all of Alameda county. Stay tuned…

What’s up with Anu and Bill?

They’re both approaching their respective campaigns as though they were neophytes. You know, you put up some pretty pictures, throw some nice personality anecdotes around the table, add in a few “vision” statements and BINGO – you’ve won another election.

But shouldn’t an incumbant have the benefit of experience on his or her side? Shouldnt they have a long list of ACCOMPLISHMENTS they would be PROUD to describe in detail ???

    But, somehow, AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, Anu and Bill have . . . . . . . . NOTHING?????!!!!!!!!!.

Wow, all the unions support Bill. Guess I am able to cull the field a little. Can’t lay the blame for all that is wrong on the unions, but they are definately getting in the way of making progress in cleaning up the economic mess of entitlements, pension costs, and getting paid by how well you do a job vs. how long you’ve kept the chair warm.

The “laugh at the kid” body language from both Harrison and Natarajan at Friday’s forum was very obvious. Funny to see Natarajan attack the kid when her primary opponent is Harrison. He gave better answers than she did at the forum, too (though they were both eloquent at time and other times gave “non answer answers”.
