I hope that Bill Harrison is an advocate for Conservative government. We don’t need any more sweetheart and backroom deals like was tried with our former Mayor and City Council members. We do not want or need the Oakland A’s, or to build a useless Arena which will create a similar problem. We need fiscal responsibilty and less government, not more. With Steve Cho we knew that he wasn’t about seeking higher office and would concentrate on Fremont entirely.

All the members of our City council need to take note of who will be watching their conduct. We will hold each of them to the standards that they said that they would uphold and more.

David – with all respect (and they are still counting votes) what the council will take note of is the fact that the “sweetheard and backroom deals” you make reference to didnt matter in this election. . . . . All of the incumbants who were party to those deals are still occupying seats. Constituency had an opportunity to replace as many as three incumbants, presumably, incumbants that were party to the very deals you object to AND in 2 of these 3 opportunities to do something about it, we opted to pass.

If I am Bill Harrison or Sue “Recuse me” Chan – right now, I’m feeling like I just keep doin’ what I been doin’ cuz it got me right back where I wanted to be.

I find it hilarious that Rick Jones was outspent something like 6 or 7 to 1 and still almost got as many votes as Dutra. Nice of the voters to leave Fremont’s first family off of the council at least for a little while.

Many great examples of being outspent and not able to deliver the goods. My personal fav was Meg W. Bring me a business plan where you outspend every previous attempt by several multiples and Cant produce a result and I’ll show you a manager without a job. What turns this chuckle into irony is that these folks frequently characterize themselves as “fiscal conservatives”.

How sweet…sounds like you and Vinnie have already danced with the devil in the pale moonlight.

As soon as he knew he had been elected Vinnie Bacon sent out a very nasty email demonizing developers. Bacon has a giant chip on his shoulder and the citizens of Fremont should all be concerned that he is not working for you. Bacons obsession with fighting with “the man” is twisted and not in the best interest of Fremont.
